LEWISTON – Please join University College in welcoming Lynn Poor who is our newest member of the UC South Paris family. Lynn works full-time, as an Administrative Specialist CL2, supporting our newly expanded Learning Community Site located at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn Campus. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position, having previously worked for over 13 years at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn College’s Student Success Center. Her dedication to student success and passion for learning makes her a great resource for our UMA students taking classes in Lewiston.
Lynn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Natural & Applied Sciences, with a Concentration in the Biology of Health & Illness and a Minor in Holistic and Integrative Health from USM. In August she will earn her Master’s degree in Adult and Higher Education from USM. She is also a Maine Certified Reflexologist and a Reiki Master Teacher.
A native of New Hampshire, Lynn currently lives in Augusta with her partner, Gordon, and her feline daughter, Solstice. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, researching a myriad of interests, and spending time with her family.
